Cooking Steps
Step 1: To begin making Zafrani Mawa Cake Recipe (Saffron Flavored Milk Cake), sift the flour and baking powder and keep aside
Step 2: Bring the mava to room temperature if kept in fridge
Step 3: Grease a 7 inch cake tin and line it with parchment
Step 4: Preheat the oven at 350 F for 10 minutes
Step 5: In a bowl, beat butter and sugar till it turns creamy
Step 6: Then add in eggs and beat well
Step 7: Add in essence and mix
Step 8: Add in mava and continue to beat till all mixed and incorporated well
Step 9: Fold in flour and mix well add warm milk and saffron to loosen the batter
Step 10: Pour the batter in the prepared cake tin
Step 11: decorate the cake with almonds or nuts of your choice
Step 12: Bake for 40- 50 min at 350F or till skewer inserted comes out clean
Step 13: Allow it to cool then slice and enjoy
