Instructions
Preparation
Wash & Marinate Chicken: Wash, cut chicken into pieces & marinate with ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, red chili powder, turmeric, garam masala, and salt. Let it rest for 30 minutes.
Mix wheat bran with whole wheat flour. Add water gradually to make a soft dough and rest for 10 minutes. Roll into thin rotis and cook on a hot tawa until both sides are fully cooked.
Cooking Steps
STEP-1 Cook the Chicken
Heat oil in a skillet. Add marinated chicken pieces and cook on medium heat for 6-8 minutes, flipping occasionally, until fully cooked and golden brown.
Add sliced onions and bell peppers to the skillet and sauté for 2-3 minutes for a crunchy texture. Set aside.
STEP-2 Prepare the Hung Curd Dressing
In a bowl, mix hung curd, lemon juice, black pepper, salt, and grated cucumber. Stir well to combine.
Step-3 Assemble the Roll
Place a wheat bran roti on a flat surface. Spread 1-2 tbsp of hung curd dressing on the roti.
Add cooked chicken, onions, and bell peppers in the center of the roti.
Roll it tightly, tucking in the sides. Repeat for all rotis.
For a crispy texture, you can lightly toast the rolls on a skillet before serving.
