Ingredients
Dalia, Raw (Broken wheat)
0.25 small cup (25g)
Spinach
20 gms (20g)
Carrot, red
30 gms (30g)
Plain Water
1 medium cup (250g)
Instructions
Preparation
Wash the dalia under running water.
Peel the carrot and chop it into small, baby-friendly pieces.
Wash the palak thoroughly to remove dirt and chop finely.
Cooking Steps
In a pressure cooker, add the washed dalia, carrot pieces, and chopped palak.
Pour water into the cooker and stir well.
Close the lid and cook on medium flame for 3-4 whistles until the dalia and vegetables are very soft.
Allow the pressure to release naturally. Open the lid and mash the cooked mixture thoroughly using a spoon or masher until smooth and lump-free.
Add 1 tsp of ghee and mix well to enhance flavor and texture.
Let the dish cool slightly before serving to the infant. Ensure it is warm and not hot to suit the baby's needs.
