Preparation
Soak brown rice for half an hour.
Cooking Steps
Rinse the brown rice and add it to a pot with 1 cup of water. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and cover the pot. Cook for 40-45 minutes until the rice is tender and the water is absorbed.
In a bowl, mix the tofu cubes with paprika powder, salt, and pepper.
Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and add oil. Add the tofu and cook for 5-7 minutes until golden brown on all sides.
Remove the tofu from the pan and set it aside. In the same pan, add the garlic, broccoli, carrots, and bell pepper. Cook for 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
To assemble the sizzler, divide the cooked brown rice between two sizzler plates. Arrange the cooked vegetables and tofu cubes on top of the rice.
Squeeze lemon juice over the vegetables and serve immediately while still sizzling.
