Step 1: To begin making the Vendakkai Thoran Recipe, firstly prepare all the ingredients and keep them ready

Step 5: Cover the pan, with the lid slightly ajar and cook the Vendakkai until it is soft

Step 7: Once the Vendakkai is cooked through, add the turmeric powder, grated coconut and saute for a few more minutes
Step 8: Check the salt and spices and adjust to suit your taste
Step 9: Once done, transfer the Vendakkai Thoran to a serving bowl and serve warm
