Cooking Steps
Step 1: To begin making the Tomato Onion Gravy Sabzi recipe, firstly heat oil in a heavy bottomed pan
Step 2: Add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, curry leaves and hing
Step 3: Let the mustard seeds splutter
Step 4: Once it is done, add green chillies, garlic cloves and onions
Step 5: Cook it till the onions becomes soft and translucent
Step 6: Once it is done, add tomatoes and let it cook for about 2 to 3 minutes
Step 7: Once done, add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and salt
Step 8: Let it cook for about 4 to 5 minutes
Step 9: Next, add the required water and let it cook for about 8 to 10 minutes
Step 10: When it is properly cooked, garnish it with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot
Step 11: Serve Tomato Onion Gravy Sabzi along with Gujarati Dal and Phulkas for a weekday lunch or dinner
