Cooking Steps
Step 1: To make Tofu Casserole, first wash and soak the rice for 1/2 hour
Step 2: Drain and keep aside
Step 3: Heat the ghee in a saucepan
Step 4: After it gets hot, add cumin seeds and let it splutter
Step 5: Add onion, green chilli, ginger garlic paste and let it cook till the onion turns brown
Step 6: After that add tomatoes and capsicum to it and mix
Step 7: Add red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder and let it cook for 5 to 7 minutes
Step 8: After 7 minutes add salt to it with tofu and let it cook until the tofu turns light brown
Step 9: Add rice and 2 cups of water and mix
Step 10: Cover the pan and cook until the rice is cooked
Step 11: Turn off the gas after cooking
Step 12: Open after 5 minutes and garnish with green coriander
Step 13: Serve Tofu Casserole with Spinach Raita, Kachumbar Salad and Papad for day or dinner
