Plain Water
1 small cup (200g)
Milk
0.25 small cup (50g)
Ginger, fresh
1 tsp grated (2g)
Tea leaves
0.5 tsp (2.5g)
Black Peppercorn
0.5 gm (0.5g)
Instructions
Cooking Steps
In a saucepan add water and tea leaves and bring water to a boil.
Once the water comes to a boil, add the gated ginger, and black peppercorns.
Reduce the heat to low add rice milk and let the spices simmer in the water for about 5-7 minutes. This will allow the flavours to infuse into the water.
Taste the tea and check if it has the desired level of flavour. If you prefer a stronger taste, you can let it simmer for a few more minutes.
Remove the saucepan from the heat. Using a fine mesh strainer, strain the tea into cup.
