Cooking Steps
Step 1: To begin making the Tandoori Style Soya Chaap Curry recipe, first remove the sticks from Soya chaap and dice them small circular pieces
Step 2: Next, take a bowl and add diced soya chaap, ginger garlic paste, and salt together
Step 3: Use your hands to rub the mixture on soya chaap
Step 4: Let it marinate for 15 minutes
Step 5: Meanwhile, take the red pepper and keep it directly on gas (fire) for roasting
Step 6: Roast till it gets charred from all the sides
Step 7: Let it cool down for few minutes
Step 8: Use your hands to remove the burnt skin from the pepper
Step 9: Grind the roasted pepper & green chillies together
Step 10: Now take the marinated soya chaaps and add red pepper paste, whisked yogurt, grated cheese and all the spices into it
Step 11: Give it a good stir so that soya chunks are properly coated
Step 12: Cover the bowl with a cling film & leave it for another 15 minutes of marination
Step 13: Once marinated, then heat up oil in pan and first add the soya chunks in order to fry them
Step 14: Cook them for 7-8 minutes and then add the left over marinade into the pan
Step 15: Cook on low heat till the gravy starts thickening
Step 16: Adjust salt as per your taste and turn off the heat
Step 17: Garnish it with some fresh coriander leaves and serve hot
Step 18: Serve Tandoori Style Soya Chaap Curry along with Tomato Onion Cucumber Raita and Whole Wheat Lachha Paratha for a weekday meal
