Instructions
Cooking Steps
Heat ghee in a pan over medium heat.
Add suji and roast it until it turns golden brown and fragrant.
Add chopped walnuts and roast for another minute.
In a separate pan, heat water and sugar until the sugar dissolves completely.
Add the sugar to the suji mixture and stir well.
Add cardamom seeds and mix well.
Cook on low heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and starts to leave the sides of the pan.
Turn off the heat and cover the pan for 2-3 minutes to allow the suji halwa to cook in its own steam.
Serve hot and garnish with additional chopped nuts, if desired.
