Roasted Peanut Powder
-Rub and remove the skin of roasted peanuts.
-Grind in a mixer to a coarse or fine powder as needed and use.
Cooking Steps
Step 1: Combine the Flours
- In a clean bowl, mix the sprouted ragi flour, roasted moong flour, and wheat flour. This forms the base dry mix for the porridge.
Step 2: Cook the Porridge
- In a kadai or pan, pour cup milk. Heat on low–medium flame.
- Gradually add dry mix powder into the milk, stirring continuously to prevent lumps.
- Add date paste and peanut powder and mix it.
- Cook for 3–5 minutes, stirring constantly, until the mixture reaches a semi-thick, spoonable consistency (similar to lapsi or porridge).
Step 3: Serve
- Pour the warm porridge into a bowl.
