Ingredients
Soya Granules

0.5 small cup (50g)
Cumin Powder

Instructions
Preparation
- Soak chana dal overnight.
- Soak soy granules in warm water for 10-15 minutes until they become soft.
- Drain the water and squeeze out the excess water from the soy granules.
Cooking Steps
Pressure cook soaked soya chunks and soaked chana dal with garlic cloves, ginger piece, cumin seeds until they are soft and cooked through.
Allow the cooked mixture to cool down slightly.
Blend the cooked mixture in a blender to a coarse consistency without adding water.
Transfer the blended mixture to a mixing bowl and add chopped onions, chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, salt, and fresh coriander leaves. Mix well to combine.
Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into round tikkis.
Heat oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Place the tikkis on the pan and cook until golden brown on both sides, adding a little oil if needed.
Once the tikkis are cooked through and crispy on the outside, remove them from the pan.
Serve the Soya Chana Dal Tikkis hot.
