Instructions
Preparation
Boil the soya chunks in water for 5 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water. Squeeze out the excess water and keep aside.
Cooking Steps
In a pan, dry roast the coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, and red chili powder for 1-2 minutes on low heat until fragrant.
In a pan, add the chopped onion and sauté for 2-3 minutes until they turn translucent.
Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for another 1-2 minutes until the raw smell goes away.
Add chopped tomato and cook for 3-4 minutes until they soften and turn mushy.
Add the dry roasted spices and mix well.
Add the cooked soya chunks and salt. Mix well, ensuring the soya chunks are coated in the masala.
Let the mixture cook for 2-3 minutes on low heat until all the flavors are well combined.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
