Fill a small pot with enough water to cover the eggs. Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat.
Lower the heat to low and carefully place the eggs into the pot using a slotted spoon.
Set a timer for 6 minutes and let the eggs cook gently in the water.
After 6 minutes, use the slotted spoon to remove the eggs from the pot and immediately place them into a bowl of ice water to cool for a minute.
Once cool, gently tap the eggs on a hard surface to crack the shell, then carefully peel the shell off.
