Cooking Steps
Step 1: To begin making Savoury Pancakes Recipe With Spinach & Paneer Filling, prep all the ingredients first, Blanch the spinach leaves in hot water and a bit of salt for a couple of minutes
Step 2: Now in order to make the filling, first heat up some mustard oil in a pan/skillet and then add cumin seeds into it
Step 3: Once the cumin seeds start crackling, then add chopped green chillies and minced garlic into it and cook for 1 minute or till the garlic is cooked
Step 4: Next, add the cubed paneer pieces into the pan & cook till they turn slightly golden
Step 5: Now add the powdered spices into the pan and mix everything well
Step 6: Cook for 3-4 minutes, till the paneer cubes, gets properly coated with spices
Step 7: In the end, add the blanched spinach leaves & salt into the pan and give it a good stir
Step 8: Let it cook for 3 to 4 minutes again
Step 9: Turn off the gas and keep this aside
Step 10: Now in order to make the pancakes, put everything in the bowl apart from water & oil and give it a good stir
Step 11: Now add 1/2 teaspoon of oil and mix again
Step 12: Start adding water into the pancake batter and make sure it is not becoming very thick or thin
Step 13: Once you achieve the perfect consistency, whisk it well
Step 14: Next heat up a skillet/pan and add a few drops of oil
Step 15: Tilt the pan to properly coat it with oil
Step 16: Once the oil is heated enough pour the batter into the pan using a ladle and make sure that whole pan is covered with batter
Step 17: Filip it after a while in order to cook from both sides
Step 18: Repeat making pancakes to complete the batter
Step 19: Once pancakes are ready then lay them flat in a plate and use paneer & spinach as a filling
Step 20: Fold the pancakes from the middle after filling it
