Cooking Steps
Step 1: To make Sabzi Rava Upma, first of all steam the carrots and green beans with water
Step 2: After cooking, drain the water and keep aside
Step 3: In a saucepan; Boil 3 cups of water with salt and sugar and once it comes to boil in water, keep it aside
Step 4: Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat
Step 5: Add the mustard seeds, urad dal and let it cook for 10 seconds
Step 6: After 10 seconds, add onion, ginger, asafoetida, curry leaves and green chillies
Step 7: Cook onion until it becomes soft
Step 8: Add semolina to it and roast
Step 9: Cook till it gets roasted well
Step 10: Take care not to let semolina turn brown
Step 11: Slowly pour hot water into the mixture and stir it with the help of a spoon
Step 12: Reduce the flame, cover the pan and allow the sub to cook
Step 13: Cook for 10 minutes
Step 14: Don't forget to move between bitches
Step 15: Finally add ghee, boiled vegetables and lemon juice
Step 16: Cook for a while and then serve hot
Step 17: Serve Sabzi Rava Upma with coconut chutney and filter coffee for breakfast
