Samak Rice (Raw)

Doubled Toned Milk (Mother Dairy)
2 small cup (400g)
Plain Water
1 medium cup (250g)
Instructions
Preparation
Rinse the rice thoroughly under running water to remove any impurities or excess starch.
Soak the rice in water for 30 minutes. This helps in reducing cooking time and aids digestion.
Cooking Steps
Drain the soaked rice and transfer it to a saucepan.
Add 2 cups of water and cook over medium heat until the rice becomes soft and fluffy (about 10-12 minutes). Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
Once the rice is cooked, lower the heat and add milk. Stir well to combine.
Simmer the mixture for another 5-7 minutes until the milk is absorbed and the rice has a porridge-like consistency.
Serve warm.
