Sago Water (Infant)
Sago water is a light and easily digestible recipe commonly prepared for infants. Sago (or sabudana) is a starchy food derived from the tapioca plant, which provides quick energy and is gentle on the stomach. It can be used for babies over six months of age, once they start consuming solid food. This recipe is suitable for hydration and is ideal during hot weather or when the baby feels dehydrated.

Preparation
Rinse the Sago- Wash the sago pearls thoroughly under running water to remove any impurities and excess starch.
Soak: Soak the sago pearls in water for 30 minutes to soften them before cooking.
Cooking Steps
After soaking, drain the water and transfer the sago pearls into a saucepan.
Add water to the saucepan.
Boil the mixture on medium heat, stirring occasionally, to prevent the sago from sticking to the bottom.
Cook until the sago pearls become translucent and soft (usually 10–15 minutes). If the water reduces too much, you can add a little more water during cooking.
Once cooked, strain the sago pearls and retain the starchy water.
Allow the sago water to cool down completely before serving it to your infant.
