Sabudana
1 small cup (100g)
Urad Dal
0.5 small cup (50g)
Common salt
0.5 tsp (2.5g)
Olive Oil
1 tsp (5g)
Instructions
Cooking Steps
Rinse the sabudana in water 2-3 times and soak it in water for 3-4 hours or overnight.
Rinse the urad dal in water and soak in water for 3-4 hours or overnight.
Drain the water from the sabudana and grind it to a fine paste in a mixer grinder. Keep aside.

Mix the sabudana paste and urad dal paste together in a large bowl. Add salt and mix well.
Cover the bowl with a lid and let the batter ferment for 6-8 hours or overnight.
Grease the idli molds with oil and pour the batter into the molds.
Steam the idlis in a steamer or pressure cooker for 10-15 minutes until they are cooked through.
Remove the idlis from the molds and serve hot.
