Step 1: To prepare Roat Recipe | Uttarakhand Style Sweetened Flatbread, In a bowl mix together wheat flour, 3 tablespoon ghee, fennel seeds and cardamom powder
Step 2: In another pan mix together grated jaggery and very little water
Step 3: Once the jaggery is dissolved, strain it to remove impurities
Step 4: And allow to cool
Step 5: Add cold milk to the flour, jaggery syrup and mix
Step 6: Make a soft dough
Step 7: Divide into equal portions
Step 8: Roll each ball into a thick roti
Step 9: Heat a tawa and cook the roat on both sides until tiny brown spots appear
Step 10: Smear ghee generously while cooking
Step 11: Cook both sides till it's crisp
