Cooking Steps
Lightly pat dry frozen shelled edamame to remove extra moisture, but do not thaw completely.
Place the edamame in a mixing bowl.
Add salt, chili powder, black pepper, and roasted jeera powder. Mix well to ensure even coating.
Preheat the air fryer to 180°C (356°F).
Spread the seasoned edamame in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
Air fry for 10–12 minutes, shaking once midway.
For extra crispiness, air fry for an additional 2–3 minutes at 160°C (320°F).
Allow the roasted edamame to cool for 5 minutes, as the crispiness increases upon cooling.
Store in an airtight container for 2–3 days at room temperature.
Refrigerate for up to 1 week. To re-crisp, air fry for 2 minutes before consuming.
