Bajra
100 gms (100g)
Olive Oil
1 tsp (5g)
Red chilli Powder
0.25 tsp (1.25g)
Bhuna Chana (Roasted chana)

Preparation
Cleaning: Wash the bajra grains thoroughly and dry them completely.
Soaking: Soak bajra grains for 6–8 hours to soften them for roasting, but traditionally, soaking is not required.
Cooking Steps
Dry Roasting:
- Heat a heavy-bottomed pan or kadhai over medium heat.
- Add the bajra grains to the pan and roast them evenly while stirring continuously.
- The grains will start popping slowly. Continue roasting until all the grains puff up and become crispy.
Seasoning:
- sprinkle salt, red chilli powder and drizzle a drop of oil over the roasted puff.
- Add roasted chana and toss with the roasted bajra puff to coat evenly.
- Let the mixture cool completely before storing it in an airtight container for up to a week.
