Instructions
Cooking Steps
Make the marinade:
-In a bowl add tofu cubes and marinate with ginger-garlic paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, salt and keep it for about 30 minutes.
Grill the tofu:
-Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Grill the marinated tofu cubes for 2-3 minutes on each side until they get a slight char. Remove from the skillet and keep aside.
Sauté the vegetables:
-In the same skillet, add another tsp of oil. Sauté the assorted vegetables until they are slightly tender but still crunchy. Then add a pinch of salt and black pepper for flavour. Remove from the skillet and keep aside.
Preparing the rice:
In a same pan add saute vegetables, Then add boiled rice and mix well with veggies. Add salt as required.
Assemble the sizzler:
Place the sizzling plate on a heatproof wooden board. Place lettuce leaves and keeps the grilled tofu to the center of the sizzling plate. Arrange the sautéed vegetable with rice. Serve hot.
