Skimmed Milk

Instructions
Cooking Steps
Wash and soak rice for 20 minutes. Drain and cook the rice in 1 cup of water until it's soft and fully cooked. Set it aside.
Heat a saucepan over medium heat.
Add the cooked rice to the saucepan and sauté for a minute.
Add milk to the saucepan and stir well. Let the mixture come to a boil.
Reduce the heat to low and let the rice and milk mixture simmer for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add sugar and cardamom powder to the mixture and stir well.
Cook for another 5-7 minutes until the kheer thickens and reaches a creamy consistency.
Serve it.
