Ingredients
Fenugreek seeds
1 gms (1g)
Common salt
1 tsp (5g)
Plain Water
1 small glass (150g)
Olive Oil
1 tbsp (15g)
Red Rice (Raw)
1 small cup (100g)
Urad Dal (Raw)
0.5 small cup (50g)
Instructions
Preparation
Soak red rice, urad dal, and fenugreek seeds in water separately overnight.
Drain the water from all the ingredients.
Cooking Steps
Grind the soaked rice and urad dal separately to a smooth paste, using water as required.
Mix both the pastes in a large bowl and add salt to taste. Mix well.
Cover the bowl and let the batter ferment for 6-8 hours or overnight.
Once the batter is fermented, mix it well.
Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Grease it lightly with oil.
Pour a ladle full of batter onto the pan and spread it in a circular motion to make a thin dosa.
Cook the dosa for 1-2 minutes until the edges start to turn brown.
Flip the dosa and cook for another 1-2 minutes until it turns golden brown.
Serve hot.
