Preparation
-Wash, peel and chop raw banana
Cooking Steps
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and mustard seeds and let them splutter.
Add chopped onions and sauté for 2-3 minutes until they turn translucent.
Add chopped tomatoes and cook for 3-4 minutes until they soften and turn mushy.
Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
Add chopped raw bananas and mix well, ensuring the bananas are coated in the masala.
Add 1 cup of water and mix well. Cover the pan with a lid and let it cook for 10-15 minutes over medium heat until the bananas are cooked and tender.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
