Cooking Steps
Step 1: To begin making Raw Banana Chivda Recipe, heat oil in a kadai on medium flame
Step 2: Wash and peel the bananas and directly grate the bananas into hot oil
Step 3: Fry in batches
Step 4: Peel only that much portion of banana that can be fried in one batch, to avoid the change in colour
Step 5: Let them fry on low to medium heat and keep turning until they turn golden brown and crisp
Step 6: Drain on an absorbent paper and set aside
Step 7: In the same frying pan, fry peanuts, cashews and almonds till they turn light golden brown
Step 8: Keep aside on kitchen towel
Step 9: In the same manner, fry green chillies and curry leaves
Step 10: Fry till they turn crisp and all the moisture evaporates from them
Step 11: Drain on kitchen towel
Step 12: In the end, fry raisins
Step 13: Be careful while frying raisins, as they burn quickly
Step 14: Fry only for a few seconds
Step 15: Combine fried grated banana, peanuts, cashews, almonds, raisins, green chillies and curry leaves in a wide bowl
Step 16: Add salt, red chilli powder, chaat masala and powdered sugar to it
Step 17: Mix well
Step 18: Once it cools down completely, store the chivda in an airtight container
