Preparation
-Wash, peel and chop pumpkin.
Cooking Steps
In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped pumpkin and cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly softened.
Add the chicken breast, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, ground nutmeg, and water to the pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to a simmer and cover the pot.
Let the pumpkin and chicken cook for 15-20 minutes until the pumpkin is tender and the chicken is cooked through.
Remove the pot from the heat and let it cool for a few minutes.
Transfer the pumpkin and chicken to a blender or food processor and puree until smooth and creamy.
If the puree is too thick, you can add some water or breast milk to thin it out to your desired consistency.
Serve the puree warm or cold, depending on your baby's preference.
