Step 1: To begin making the Pudalangai Poriyal Recipe, firstly wash snake gourd and slice them into medium sized piece

Step 3: Once the oil is hot, add mustard seeds
Step 4: Once the seeds splutter, add curry leaves and green chillies
Step 5: Now add the snake gourd, sprinkle some salt and turmeric powder and mix well
Step 6: Add a few drops of water, cover and cook the poriyal
Step 7: Simmer the flame and cook the vegetable with lid covered until they become tender and cooked well
Step 8: This will take about 6-8 minutes
Step 9: Open the lid and finally, add the grated coconut to the Pudalangai Poriyal and give it a stir
Step 10: Simmer the Pudalangai Poriyal for about 2 minutes and then switch off the flame and serve hot
