Instructions
Cooking Steps
Soak poppy seeds in water for 30-40 mins.
Drain the water and grind the poppy seeds to a fine paste.
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
Add chopped green chili and cubed potatoes. Cook for 5-7 minutes until the potatoes are half-cooked.
Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Stir well.
Add the poppy seed paste and mix well with the potatoes. Add 1 cup of water and bring it to a boil.
Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan with a lid, and let it cook for 10-12 minutes until the potatoes are fully cooked and the gravy has thickened.
