Plum
300 gms (300g)
Cumin Powder
1 tsp (2g)
Turmeric powder
0.25 tsp (1.25g)
Cinnamon Powder
0.5 tsp (1.3g)
Grated Ginger
1 tbsp (15g)
Common salt
0.5 tsp (2.5g)
Dates
2 piece, pitted (14g)
Plain Water
0.25 small cup (50g)
Instructions
Cooking Steps
In a medium saucepan, combine chopped plums, grated ginger, pitted date and water. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
Reduce the heat to low and add cumin powder, cinnamon powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well.
Cook for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the plums have softened and the mixture has thickened.
Remove from heat and let the chutney cool.
Transfer the chutney to a blender and blend until smooth.
Pour the chutney into a clean glass jar and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
