Cooking Steps
Step 1: To begin making the Pepper Cauliflower recipe, boil water and add cauliflower florets to it
Step 2: Switch off the heat after 10 minutes and let the cauliflower remain in hot boiling water
Step 3: The cauliflower should retain crispiness and should not be over cooked
Step 4: You can even blanch the cauliflower
Step 5: Heat a kadai/wok and add oil
Step 6: After oil gets heated, add mustard seeds
Step 7: After mustard seeds flutter, add red chilli and urad dal
Step 8: After urad dal turns slightly brown, add curry leaves and chopped garlic
Step 9: Fry the curry leaves till they turn crispy
Step 10: Add chopped onion and fry it, till it turns pinkish
Step 11: Now add the boiled cauliflower florets
Step 12: Do not add water
Step 13: Add black pepper powder, cumin powder, red chilli powder and toss
Step 14: Add salt to taste and toss
Step 15: Garnish with chopped coriander leaves
Step 16: Serve Pepper Cauliflower along with Panchmel Dal, Rice and Phulkas for a perfect weekday meal
