Instructions
Preparation
Blanch the fresh peas in boiling water until they are tender.
Drain the peas and let them cool to room temperature.
Cooking Steps
In a mixing bowl, whisk the plain curd until it's smooth and creamy.
Add the cooled green peas to the curd.
Season the mixture with roasted cumin powder, salt and red chili powder. Adjust the seasoning to your taste.
Chill the raita in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving. This allows the flavors to meld together.
