Instructions
Cooking Steps
In a large pot, heat oil over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, and red chili powder. Stir well.
Add green peas and salt to taste. Mix well, ensuring the peas are coated in the masala.
Add water and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to low, cover the pot with a lid, and let the soup simmer for 15-20 minutes until the peas are cooked and soft.
Turn off the heat and let the soup cool for a few minutes.
Using an immersion blender or a regular blender, blend the soup until smooth.
Pour the soup into bowls and garnish with fresh cilantro leaves.
