Preparation
- Wash, peel, and dice the pointed gourd into small cubes.
- Rinse the moong dal thoroughly in water.
Cooking Steps
In a pressure cooker or pot, combine the diced pointed gourd (parwal), yellow moong dal, turmeric powder, salt, and water.
Pressure cook for 3-4 whistles, or until the dal and bottle gourd are soft and well-cooked.
