Instructions
Cooking Steps
Cook the toor dal with a little water and salt until it is soft and mushy.
In a pan, heat a little water and sauté the onions until they are translucent.
Add chopped tomatoes, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, green chilies, and curry leaves. Mix well.
Add the cooked dal and thin coconut milk. Mix well.
Bring the mixture to a boil and then simmer for 5-7 minutes.
Remove from heat and serve hot with rice.
