Instructions
Preparation
-Soak steel cut Oats overnight.
Cooking Steps
In a blender, grind the soaked oats into a fine batter.
In a mixing bowl, combine the oats batter, chopped onions, chopped tomatoes, chopped green chili, cumin seeds, and salt. Mix well.
Add more water if needed to make a smooth batter. The batter should be of pouring consistency.
Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Pour a ladleful of batter on the pan and spread it in a circular motion to form a thin pancake.
Drizzle a little oil around the edges of the cheela and on top.
Cook the cheela for 2-3 minutes on one side until it turns golden brown. Flip and cook for another minute on the other side.
Repeat the process with the remaining batter.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
