Preparation
- Wash and grate ghiya (bottle gourd) and squeeze out excess water, keep aside.
Cooking Steps
In a bowl, add the grated ghiya (bottle gourd), oats flour.
Add ghiya water gradually to the mixture to form a soft and pliable dough.
Rest the dough for at least 30 minutes. This allows the oats to absorb the moisture for better consistency.
Divide the dough into small balls and roll them into flatbreads.
Heat a tawa or griddle over medium heat. Place the rolled-out roti on the tawa and cook for 1-2 minutes.
Flip the roti and cook on the other side for another 1-2 minutes.
Cook until crispy and golden brown.
Repeat the process for all the rotis.
Serve hot.
