Dry Roast the Oats:

Add Water and Dates:
- Pour in the water and stir to combine with the roasted oats.
- Add pitted dates to the pan. Mix well.
Boil and Simmer:
- Bring the mixture to a gentle boil, then reduce the heat to low.
- Let it simmer for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking, until the oats are soft and the mixture reaches your desired consistency.
- If the mixture becomes too thick, add a splash of water and stir.
