Cooking Steps
Step 1: To begin making Nariyal Ki Kheer Recipe, crush and soak the saffron strands in 1 teaspoon warm milk
Step 2: In a thick bottom pan, bring the rest of the milk to boil on a medium heat
Step 3: You need to stir in continuously to avoid any sticking to the base
Step 4: Keep stirring till the milk is reduced to just half of the original amount
Step 5: Now add grated coconut to milk and stir it firmly until it again starts boiling
Step 6: Cook on low medium heat for about 15-20 minutes or till the coconut is cooked well
Step 7: Now add sugar, cardamom powder, saffron, almonds, cashews and pistachios
Step 8: Stir it well and cook it for 5-7 minutes further, or till the nuts are cooked
Step 9: Garnish it with some remaing dry fruits and serve warm or chilled
