Cooking Steps
Step 1: To begin making the Nagli/Ragi Laddu recipe, heat ghee in a heavy bottomed pan
Step 2: Roast the flours in the ghee till you get the typical aroma
Step 3: Stir constantly so that they do not burn
Step 4: Next, add the dates and jaggery
Step 5: Cook for a few minutes till the jaggery melts and mixes well with the flours
Step 6: Take off the heat and add the other ingredients except milk
Step 7: Cool slightly
Step 8: Pulse the mixture once or twice in a food processor to mix everything together
Step 9: Make small rounds balls (laddus) from the mixture, till it is still warm
Step 10: Sprinkle some milk if the mixture is too dry
Step 11: Cool completely and store in an airtight container
Step 12: Serve Nagli/Ragi Laddu with Scrambled Egg Sandwich with Cucumber and some fresh fruits for your kids lunch box
