Cooking Steps
Step 1: To begin preparing Mutton Do Pyaza Recipe, keep all the ingredients handy
Step 2: In a saucepan kept on medium heat, sauté sliced onions using a tablespoon of oil, till browned, for about 2-3 minutes
Step 3: Sprinkling a little salt while sautéing helps in faster cooking
Step 4: Browning of onions is important to hold up the taste
Step 5: Add ginger garlic paste
Step 6: Mix
Step 7: Sauté till the raw smell disappears, for about 2-3 minutes on medium heat
Step 8: Add turmeric powder, goat meat and mix well
Step 9: Add a little water, cover and cook on medium high for 30 mins
Step 10: Check in between to add more water as required and sauté
Step 11: Add dry spices like coriander, cumin powder, red chilli powder and Yogurt
Step 12: Mix well, cover and cook for another 30 minutes on medium high heat
Step 13: Add Garam masala, sprinkle chopped coriander and salt
Step 14: Mix well
Step 15: The next step is tempering
Step 16: In a medium pan, heat 1 tablespoon oil and add dry red chilies
Step 17: Fry for few seconds until they brown up
Step 18: Then add roughly chopped onions
Step 19: Sauté for 2-3 minutes until tender and browned
Step 20: Pour this over mutton
Step 21: Mix well
Step 22: Cover and simmer on low heat for 10 minutes
Step 23: Squeeze juice of half a lime
Step 24: Relish Mutton Do Pyaza with hot Rotis, Butter Naan or cooked Rice for a nice sunday meal to enjoy with your loved ones
