Cooking Steps
Step 1: To prepare this easy Mushroom thoran Recipe-Kerala Style Mushroom Sabzi, prep up with all the ingredients first
Step 2: Grind all the ingredients meant for spice paste into a thick coarse paste by adding 1/3 cup water
Step 3: Heat a kadai and add oil
Step 4: Add mustard seeds and after they splutter, one by one add the other ingredients meant for tempering and mix well
Step 5: Add the finely chopped mushrooms and turmeric powder and mix well
Step 6: After some time water will be released from the mushrooms
Step 7: Cook it for 10 to 15 minutes till the mushrooms appear tender
Step 8: Now add the ground coconut paste to the mushrooms and cook uncovered for 10 minutes
Step 9: Add salt to taste and give it a stir
