Cooking Steps
Step 1: To begin making the Mooli and Moong Dal Sabji Recipe, firstly heat oil in a heavy bottomed pan
Step 2: Add the mustard seeds and once they splutter, add the cumin seeds
Step 3: Let it cook for 30 seconds
Step 4: After 30 seconds, add garlic, asafoetida, turmeric powder, green chillies and saute for a few seconds
Step 5: Drain, add the moong dal and stir
Step 6: Cook covered for 2-3 minutes till the dal is almost cooked
Step 7: Add a tablespoon of water if required
Step 8: Add the radish and greens
Step 9: Add salt, sugar, stir and cook for 1-2 minutes till the radish softens a bit
Step 10: Do not overcook
Step 11: It is ready to be served
Step 12: Serve Mooli And Moong Dal Sabji along with Gujarati Kadhi, Kachumber Salad and Phulka for a weekday lunch
