Ingredients
Whole Wheat Flour
1 cup (200g)
Skimmed Milk (Cow)
0.25 cup (50g)
Plain Water
0.25 small cup (20g)
Olive Oil
0.5 tsp (2.5g)
Common salt
0.25 tsp (1.25g)
Instructions
Cooking Steps
In a large mixing bowl, add the whole wheat flour. Mix well.
Add the milk and oil. Mix well.
Slowly add water as needed and knead the dough until it becomes smooth and elastic. The dough should be soft but not sticky. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 15-20 minutes.
Divide the dough into small portions and roll them into balls.
Dust the rolling surface with flour and roll each ball into a thin and round roti.
Heat a tawa or flat skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, place the roti on the tawa.
Cook for about 30-40 seconds on each side, or until brown spots appear.
