Cooking Steps
Step 1: To begin making the Menthe/Fenugreek Seeds Tambli Recipe, heat ghee in a kadai or a heavy bottomed pan
Step 2: Add methi seeds and dry red chillies to it
Step 3: Roast them until methi seeds and red chilies turn brownish and aromatic
Step 4: Once done transfer to a plate
Step 5: In a mixer grinder, blend the methi seeds along with grated coconut, salt and little yogurt to make a smooth paste
Step 6: You can add a little water to the mixture
Step 7: Transfer the methe and coconut mixture to a serving bowl
Step 8: Add the remaining yogurt and stir well
Step 9: Add salt and check the taste
Step 10: The final step is to make the seasoning
Step 11: Heat ghee in the small tadka pan over medium heat
Step 12: Once hot add mustard seeds and allow it to crackle
Step 13: When they splutter add curry leaves and turn off the heat
Step 14: Pour this seasoning on the Menthe Tambli and give a gentle stir
Step 15: The Menthe Tambli is ready to be served
Step 16: Serve the Menthe / Fenugreek Seeds Tambli as a side dish along with your main course meal for lunch or dinner
