Cooking Steps
Step 1: To begin making the Masalewari Koki recipe, take wheat flour in a big bowl
Step 2: Add onion, ginger, green chilli, herbs, carom seeds, cumin seeds, dry pomegranate seeds, asafoetida, salt, red chilli powder and turmeric powder
Step 3: Mix everything properly
Step 4: Next, add water little by little and make a soft dough
Step 5: Add 2 tablespoons ghee, knead again, cover and keep the dough aside for 10 to 15 minutes to set
Step 6: After 10 to 15 minutes, knead the dough again, until smooth
Step 7: Preheat tawa over medium flame
Step 8: Meanwhile, make orange sized balls from the dough
Step 9: Dust dry flour and make 3-4 inch thick roti using rolling pin
Step 10: Place the roti on the hot tawa
Step 11: Cook both sides on medium flame till its crisp
Step 12: Brush ghee generously on both sides
Step 13: Once done, take off the flame and serve it hot
Step 14: Serve Masalewari Koki along with Boondi Raita and Dhaniya Pudina Chutney for breakfast
