Skimmed Milk Curd

Split Urad Dal (Raw)

Instructions
Preparation
Soak rice and urad dal, grind, and ferment overnight.
In a mixing bowl, combine rice dal batter, plain yogurt, and salt. Mix well.
Cooking Steps
Heat a non-stick pan or tava over medium heat and lightly grease it with oil.
Pour a ladleful of dosa batter onto the pan and spread it slightly to form a thick pancake.
Sprinkle chopped onions, green chilies, coriander leaves, and a pinch of salt over the batter.
Add a sprinkle of turmeric powder and red chili powder for extra flavor.
Drizzle oil around the edges of the uttapam.
Cover with a lid and cook on low-medium heat for 2-3 minutes.
Flip the uttapam gently and cook for another 1-2 minutes until both sides are golden and cooked through.
Remove from the pan and serve hot
