Cooking Steps
Step 1: To begin making the Masala Mixed Sprouts Sandwich, add the sprouts and 1 cup water to a pressure cooker and pressure cook for 1 whistle
Step 2: Switch off and let the pressure get released
Step 3: Heat a kadai and add oil
Step 4: When oil gets heated, add onion and saute
Step 5: When onion turns pinkish, add tomato and fry till tomato turns soft and mushy
Step 6: Add garlic and fry till the raw smell of garlic goes away
Step 7: This will take 2 to 3 minutes
Step 8: Meanwhile, open the pressure cooker and add the boiled sprouts and mix
Step 9: Add red chilli powder, chaat masala powder, turmeric powder, salt and give it a good mix
Step 10: Let it simmer for 10 minutes
Step 11: Adjust salt and switch off the heat
Step 12: Garnish with chopped coriander leaves
Step 13: Now the filling is ready
Step 14: So let us assemble the sandwich
Step 15: Take a slice of bread and spread 2 tablespoon of the sprout mixture
Step 16: Top this with one or two onion slices and close it with another slice of bread
Step 17: Either eat the sandwich as it is or grill it if you prefer
Step 18: Assemble the other sandwiches in the same way and serve the masala mixed sprout sandwich hot
