Cooking Steps
Step 1: To prepare Manathakkali Thayir Pachadi Recipe, heat a pan and add oil
Step 2: Once the oil is hot, add mustard and hing
Step 3: Tear the mor milagai into smaller pieces and add them to the oil
Step 4: Add the manathakkali kai vathal and fry them
Step 5: Add salt and mix well
Step 6: The manathakkali berry would start to burst out after few minutes
Step 7: Hence close with a lid and keep stirring at regular intervals
Step 8: Once cooked, add coriander leaves and switch off and allow it to cool
Step 9: Add Yogurt and dilute with water to make it a raita consistency
Step 10: Mix well
Step 11: Let this marinate for 1 hour (Minimum) in fridge or at room temperature
Step 12: Serve Manathakkali Thayir Pachadi Recipe chilled, or at room temperature, along with Maharashtrian Multigrain Thalipeeth or Chettinad Vegetable Pulao Recipe
